About

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology with a Concentration in Women’s and Gender Studies and Latin American Studies. My research focuses on gender and sexualities in the context of Argentina and Latin America. Specifically, I am researching the situation of transgender population and work. I understand that in a capitalist system, living conditions rely deeply on having access to a job and being able to maintain it. I also look at the role of the state in shaping jobs and rights for LGBTQ people. I have a deep interest in sociological, feminist, and queer theory and methods. I am passionate about qualitative methods, in-depth interviews, and exploring how to integrate AI and computational methods into my research. I am currently working on papers about populist states and gender and queer methods.
