Intro to Data: Health and Retirement Study

The Computational Sociology and Criminology (CSC) Lab is holding regular topic-specific research meetings throughout the semester. This Friday, our Health/Aging/Family meeting members will have a small workshop titled “Intro to Data: Health and Retirement Study.”

The Health and Retirement Study (HRS) is one of the most popular longitudinal survey datasets targeting older adults in the United States. We are going to review the following:

i) The basic data structure
ii) Ongoing research with the HRS
iii) Discussion about future research topics with the HRS

We welcome everyone interested in the HRS, lab research meetings, and/or computational sociology and criminology in general.
