Chuck Peek graduated with a PhD in Sociology from the University of Michigan in 1995. His research focuses primarily on the relationships between social inequality and health disparities over the life course. He is currently working on projects that examine the social determinants of subjective health assessment. He is also interested in the causes and consequences of gender-based violence and he regularly teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in medical sociology and social research methods.
