The Department of Sociology and Criminology & Law is proud to announce this year’s recipients of our Graduate Student Awards:
- The winner of the Jerome A. Connor Dissertation Award is Bhavna Sharma (Constructing a Prototype for Wise Organizations and Wise Leadership through a Cross-Cultural Mixed Methods Study).
- The winner of the Gorman Research Methods Award is Chidimma Doris Azubuike (The Influence of Paternal Characteristics on Full Childhood Vaccination in Nigeria) for Sociology.
- The winners of the Department Teaching Award are Luis Gonzalez-Diaz and Unna Yared.
Please note that we had no applicant for the Ronald L. Akers Graduate Student Paper Award this year, and there were no eligible criminology applicants for the Gorman Award this year.
