We are proud to announce that our recent graduate, Meshach Pierre (MA Criminology, Law & Society Fall 2023), has accepted a Lectureship position at the University of Guyana in the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Pierre’s thesis explored the dimensions of guardianship, stewardship, social cohesion, and tolerance among Indigenous communities that coexist with jaguars in Guyana’s Rupununi region.
