On Thursday, Sept. 1, the Department of Sociology and Criminology & Law hosted its first in-person Fall Reception since 2019. Introductions were made for new faculty members, Dr. Ravi Ghadge and Dr. Edo Navot, and for our 2020, 2021, and 2022 graduate student cohorts. During the reception, Dr. Stephen Perz presented the recipients of the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 Graduate Student Awards with their award certificates (pictured below).
The department would like to thank our 2022-2023 GSAC officer team for organizing and managing Thursday’s event, Dr. Perz and Lisandra Harkeli for helping with the logistics, Claudia Odgers Ascencio for taking pictures during the event, and all of our faculty and graduate students for attending.
