Ryan Thomson

Ryan Thomson is a Doctoral Research Fellow at University of Florida’s Sociology and Criminology & Law department. His areas of research focus on environmental justice and social geography with an emphasis on community and environmental health. His applied work with Queen Quet and the Gullah/Geechee Nation has recently resulted in joining the Sea Island Coalition think tank. He presently serves as Board Chair of NC Warn and is an active participant within a variety of grassroots efforts throughout the southeast.
