Institute for Crime, Justice, and Policy Research
The Institute serves as a mechanism for initiating, developing, and carrying out policy-relevant research on criminological and criminal justice topics. The Institute has close ties with other units around campus, including local, state, national, and federal agencies. In addition to its research mission, the Institute also engages in training and education functions such as providing graduate students with research opportunities and bringing speakers to the criminology center.
